I provide pitching lessons for female softball pitchers ages 10-18.
Lessons are typically held at Dewitt Rd. Elementary School in the Summer, depending on availability. They can also be held at other local softball fields or indoor sports facilities in the Rochester area. Specific locations can be discussed upon scheduling.
You can schedule a lesson right here on this page. I recommend booking lessons at least a week in advance to ensure availability.
Players need to provide their own catcher for each lesson, whether it be a parent or a teammate. They should bring their own glove, softball, and wear appropriate athletic attire, including cleats or sneakers. It's also important to bring water to stay hydrated!
My lessons are 45 minutes long. I would prefer that you sign up for ONE or TWO lessons a week to ensure availability for others, and to make sure that you are practicing on your own before I see you again!
Your investment for a single 45-minute long lesson is $60. I accept payment through cash or Venmo. Cash is preferred.
When book your lesson, you will pay a $20 non-refundable fee via Paypal to secure your lesson time. The remaining balance of $40 is due at the time of your lesson.
To ensure that I'm providing my full attention to an individual athlete’s unique needs, I do not offer group lessons. I can, however, schedule a block of time and do back-to-back lessons with teams. Coaches are more than welcome reach out to me if interested in this option for their team.
My coaching philosophy centers around developing both the technical skills and mental toughness needed for pitching. I emphasize proper mechanics, strategy, and fostering a love for the game.
I require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows me to accommodate other players who may be waiting for a lesson slot. There is a $25 fee for no shows and last minute cancellations.
Every lesson, I give players "homework," which typically consists of 3-5 drills they should be working on at home. These drills should be done daily to reinforce the skills worked on.
I'd love to hear them. Use the form to reach out. I'll get back to you just as soon as I can.
